Steve Torres
Partner

Steve has over 25 years experience as a local small business owner with wife as professional photographers.  Prior to photography, he worked for a non-profit organization with a concentration of State and Local environmental and water conservation programs both in the government and private sectors. He spent many years in Washington DC working for a technology firm developing, marketing and sales of electronic medical claims software.

He recently had a life changing experience, throughout the COVID-19 pandemic he became his elderly parents' caretaker to ensure their safety and well-being.  After the pandemic recovery, like most Americans he returned back to work.

A year later his father passed from natural causes and his eighty-eight year old mother’s health began to decline.  She was diagnosed with the beginning stages of Dementia and she became a fall risk.  Not having any experience in senior living communities, he and his tight-knit family had a difficult and overwhelming experience locating the right place for his mother.  It took several months of research and trial and error until they found her new home.  After his experience, he vowed that he would help other families who were in the same situation.

While visiting his mother, who is now residing in an assisted living community specializing in memory care, he met Frank Cunningham, founder and owner of My Calling Inc.  After much discussion, Steve was very impressed with Frank’s knowledge of the senior living communities and he knew that My Calling Inc. would be his next journey.

Steve is married with five children and eight grandchildren.  He enjoys spending time with his family. He is a musician and songwriter, enjoys reading and is an avid vinyl collector.
